Full Disc Buffing Wheels do not have a metal center. They are circular die cut layers of cloth sheeting, assembled and held together by various patterns of sewing that are added to influence the hardness, flexibility, resiliency and compound holding ability.

Type "FD-40" sections are super thick, being constructed of 40-ply, full disc, tightly woven, industrial cotton sheeting. A Perfectly balanced factory-prepared, nap naked face accepts buffing compound dressing immediately. Recommended for use with SATIN-GLO Greaseless Compounds, as well as regular buffing compound rouges.
