These wheels and compounds are especially made and recommended for use on tool room grinders to produce extremely low RMS micro inch readings on plugs, punches, form roll, gage and stamping die molds, and to remove braze and weld strains or light rust.
For Cutting Down:
Use Product No. 515-451 combination Sisal Fiber/Cotton Wheels and Product No. 515-552 cut down grade Steel Polishing Compound for reducing or removing light surface imperfections such as burrs, nicks, scratches and grinding wheel fuzz.
For High Shine:
Use Product No. 515-452 Circle-Sewed Cotton Buffs and Product No. 515-554 High Shine rouge for luster Color buffing without perceptionally changing the part geometry.

K-402 Metal and Plastic Buffing Kit
The kit is packaged especially for the industrial/commercial and workshop trade that requires a handy ready-to-use buffing wheel and polishing compound kit, for immediate or occasional use. Shelf life storage is indefinite.
Each K-402 kit contains three (3) different type buffing wheels and four (4) different grades of buffing compound. Each wheel is six inches (6”) in diameter and approximately one inch (1”) thick to provide wide wheel units, and is supplied with it’s own telescoping, removable bushing. This permits mounting on spindle shafts of 1”, 3/4”, 5/8” and 1/2” diameters.
